Marri Yadav takes charge as KUDA chief

Warangal: TRS senior leader Marri Yadav assumed the charge as the chairman of Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) at the KUDA office in Warangal on Wednesday.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Ministers Etela Rajendar, KT Rama Rao, Chandulal, Mayor, legislators and other party leaders were present.

Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao said that the state government was committed to develop Warangal on par with the state’s capital city.

The minister asserted that the huge funds were allocated to Warangal in the state budget besides other special funds to make Warangal a Smart City.

The minister said that TRS government was honouring all those who were part of the Telangana statehood movement.

He said that the TRS chief was recognizing the services of his party men who strove for the Telangana’s cause and was honoring them by appointing them for various nominated posts.

Referring to the Centre’s ease of doing business ranking that put Telangana on top slot, the minister said that the state government’s industry friendly policies are bearing fruits in the form of huge investments to the state. (INN)
