Hyderabad: South Central Railway General Manager Ravindra Gupta conducted intensive inspection of Nellore Railway station today. He was accompanied by Ashok Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division and other Officials.
The General Manager undertook an intensive inspection of Nellore railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities available at the station, booking office, circulating area etc.
He suggested the officials to beautify indoor main hall of the station building with paintings and ceiling lights and to provide more seating arrangements for the convenience of passengers.
Ravindra Gupta also inspected the catering and food stalls on the platform and instructed them to provide hot milk and baby food items and display them prominently.
He expressed dissatisfaction over flooring tiles on the platform and advised the officials to replace with suitable flooring.
He was impressed with usage of ATVMs available at Nellore station by passengers and assured to supply more ATVMs for the convenience of passengers. (INN)
