Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Thursday sanctioned Rs 194.54 crore for Yellampally Project phase –II, an order to this effect was issued today.
Irrigation Minister Harish Rao said the government would construct the project on time and added that the project on its completion would irrigate 57,000 acres in Karimnagar and Adilabad (unified) districts.
The minister said that Rudrangi and Nagaram tanks will be developed into reservoirs which will have pump houses to Kathalapur, Korutla, Ibrahimpatnam, Metpally mandals. (INN)
