Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday reviewed the ongoing works of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) directed the official to ensure that the project is completed by mid 2018.
The Chief Minister assured the HMR authorities of administrative support to complete the project as per the schedule.
In first phase a stretch of 72km comprising of 66 stations was actually scheduled to be complete by July 2017. Sources say that HMR is striving hard to finish the first phase by December 2018.
L&T Metro Chairman SN Subramanyam, Managing Director Shivanand, HMR managing director NVS Reddy and other officials were present at the meeting held at Pragati Bhavan. (INN)
