New pattern for teachers’ recruitment exam soon: Dy CM

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari said that the state government would soon bring out the new pattern of teachers recruitment exams under DSC.

Speaking at a workshop of the district education officers (DEOs) and regional joint directors (RJDs) at the Sarva Shiksha Abiyan office on Wednesday, Srihari said that the state government was making every effort to impart quality education at all levels in the state.

He said that the government would soon issues notices to 162 private schools for collecting exorbitant fee from students.

The Deputy CM said that the government may do away with the EAMCET for engineering admissions.

He said that it has been observed over the years that the number of seats available in engineering courses were more than the number of students appearing for the Eamcet.

He said that the decision if implemented would go a long way in strengthening engineering education in the state and would put an end to the huge collection of fees by coaching centres.

Srihari said that the government will come out with complete guidelines on the issue and the same may be implemented from the next academic year. (INN)
