Hyderabad: Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, Maulana Azad National Urdu University in collaboration with National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL, New Delhi) is organizing 5-day workshop on “Capacity Building for Working Urdu Journalists of Telangana and Thereabouts”.
The inaugural session will be held on Saturday at DDE Auditorium, MANUU Campus.
According to Prof. Ehtesham Ahmad Khan, Dean and Head MCJ, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Minister for Information & Broadcasting,
Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, will be the Chief Guest. Dr. Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor will preside over the function.
Padma Shri Alok Mehta, Chief Editor Outlook (Hindi) will deliver keynote address, Shahid Siddiqui, Editor Nai Duniya Urdu Weekly, New Delhi; Syed Vicaruddin, Editor Rahmanuma-e-Deccan; Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat; Nseem Arifi, Editor Etemaad will be Guests of Honour. (INN)
