Hyderabad: Minister for Irrigation Harish Rao reviewed the works of Kaleshwaram Ethipothala project with the officials of Irrigation department at Jala Soudha on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion the minister directed the officials to speed up the construction works of the project.
He enquired about the progress of works on Medigadda, Annaram, Sundilla barrage, pump house progress among other issues. He directed the officials to inaugurated the pump houses at the earliest.
It may be noted that the state government has finalized proposals for Rs 11,080 crore for the construction works of Ranganaik Sagar, Mallanna Sagar, Baswapur, Kondapochamma, Gandhammalla reservoirs.
The authorities also discussed about the finalisaton of proposals for these projects and accordingly invite tenders for the same. (INN)
