Hyderabad: The Winter Session of Telangana Assembly and Council came to end on Wednesday.
Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary adjourned the Assembly sine die after the House discussed various issues including welfare of minorities.
The Assembly functioned for 18 days during which different issues were discussed for 94 hours and 56 minutes. As many 110 Starred Questions, 45 Un-starred Questions and 361 supplementary questions were answered.
A total of 186 speeches were made by the members while ministers made four statements. As many as 15 Short Discussions were held and 16 bills were introduced and passed during the winter session.
Meanwhile, Legislative Council too adjourned sine die by its Chairman Swamy Goud. (INN)
