Hyderabad: Minister for Irrigation and Marketing T. Harish Rao on Friday slammed CPM secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram accusing him of working against the interest of Telangana.
Harish Rao told reporters here that the CPM had in the past opposed the statehood for Telangana and now it was create obstacles in the state’s progress. The CPM leader is hurting the state’s interest, the minister said.
Taking pot shots at the CPM leaders, the minister said that CPM’s Sunnam Rajaiah was staging a one-man show in the Assembly while his party colleague Veerabhadram was doing the same in the name of Mahajana Padayatra.
He warned the CPM leaders to mend their ways and stop criticizing every development work of the state government. If the party continues to oppose state’s development, people will teach them a fitting lesson, the TRS leader remarked. (INN)
