TRS Govt failed to address public issues: Bhatti

Hyderabad: TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday alleged that State Government has failed to address the issues concerning common man during the recently concluded winter session of Telangana State Legislature.

Speaking to media persons here, Bhatti said of 95 hours the Assembly functioned, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao spoke for almost 51 hours.

He said Congress legislators spoke for just 19 hours and therefore, they were denied opportunity to raise important issues. He said that the State Government has failed to come up with a solution on problems being faced by the farmers and there was no commitment on clearance of dues of crop loan waiver scheme.

He said that the government failed to give proper replies to the questions raised by opposition parties. He also alleged that the TRS was trying to take credit for the success of schemes/projects launched by previous Congress regime. (INN)
