Gurukul schools increased educational standards in TS: Dy CM

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Sunday claimed that the State Government has increased the standards of education in Telangana State by setting up Gurkul schools. Compared to boys, he said girls were giving better performance in public examinations.

Speaking after inaugurating a Walkathon at Sanjeevaiah Park, the Deputy CM listed out various measures taken by the government to improve the standards of education. He asked the students to focus on their academic careers.

The function was also addressed by academician Chukka Ramaiah, Board of Intermediate Education Commission Ashok, Income Tax Department Deputy Commission Venkatesham and other officials. (INN)
