People may be migrating to cities and adopting urban way of life, but some students in Hyderabad’s Intelli Public School think being in village is like being in the lap of nature.
A village model prepared by seventh standard students Ayesha Kouser, Ameen Fatima, Neha Khan and Sana attracted attention of visitors at the Third Intelli Science Fair.
The team of young students briefed the visitors that a village is an epitome of harmony, eco-friendliness, and togetherness. Pollution levels are usually low in rural areas when compared to urban areas.
“We are from a small town, and saw village life very closely. Being in village feels like closer to the nature,” says Ayesha who hails from Karimnagar.
The one-day science fair was inaugurated by Abdul Qadeer, retired Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) and president of Gulshan Colony Welfare Association.
Intelli Public School correspondent Zayeemuddin Ahmed said that the school prefers experiential learning and offers various opportunities to students so that they can learn in a practical manner.
“We divided science fair into four sections representing social sciences, physical sciences, Islamic and costume,” Ahmed added.
He further informed that as many as 700 visitors checked in for the science fair and interacted with Intelli students about their presentations.
While some students prepared models based on electro magnetic energy, hydraulic machine, Pascal principles, magnetic levitation and electromagnetism, other primary school students dressed liked celebrities of the science world.
