Hyderabad: TRS MP K. Kavitha will participate in the Women Parliamentarians’ Conference being held in Amravati from February 10.
Kavitha, who also heads the NGO Telangana Jagruti, confirmed her participation in the conference. She said that conference was of utmost importance for women as it would discuss the issues like reservation for women in law making bodies.
She hoped that the conference would prove beneficial in the political, social and economic development of women in the country.
The TRS MP also condemned the cancellation of meeting between Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao-led delegation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of categorisation of Scheduled Castes. (INN)
