Hyderabad: The Recruitment for Soldier (GD), Washer man, Soldier (Chef) and Soldier (Steward) by the 125 Infantry Battalion of Territorial Army (TA), “The Guards” will be carried out from 6th to 17th March at Main Ground inside 1105 Battalion of Engineers Regiment (Territorial Army), Opposite Coca Cola Factory, Moula-Ali, Hyderabad-500040.
According to an Army press release, the educational qualification for general duty candidates is matriculation/SSC with 45% minimum pass marks and 33% in each subject or pass/qualified in higher class (i.e. 12th or above).
For Soldier Tradesmen (Washer man, Soldier (Chef) and Soldier (Steward)) candidates should pass 10th. Age should be between 18 to 42 years, height 160 Cms, chest 77-82 Cms and minimum weight should be 50 Kgs.
Interested candidates from all districts of Karnataka, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra States apart from Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry should report for recruitment proceedings at 0430 hrs on 6th March at above said location along with the original certificates and passport size photographs.
Territorial Army is purely a voluntary organization and essentially a part time job.
People will be employed temporarily based on Government Sanction and Organisational Requirement, the press release added. (INN)
