Hyderabad: As many as 153 candidates submitted grievance representations challenging the provisional selection of police constables by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB).
The provisional selection for the posts of SCT PCs (Civil/AR) (Men & Women), SCT PC (SAR CPL/TSSP) (Men), Constables in SPF and Firemen in TS DR & Fire Services dept., was issued on February 17.
The selections of each post have been processed based on the recruitment procedure/notification.
According to the TSLPRB Chairman Purna Chandra Rao, an opportunity was given to the candidates who did not get selected and willing to submit representations challenging the selection based on cut off rank of a post from 24-02-2017 to 27-02-2017. A total of 153 candidates have submitted representations challenging the same.
“Their original applications will be scrutinized and the candidates whose claims are found to be correct will be selected provisionally based on such scrutiny and merit.
Intimation accordingly will be given to the candidates within two weeks,” the TSLPRB Chairman said in a press release. (INN)
