VNR VJIET Students Receive Best Student-Project Awards from TCS

Four students of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VJIET) bagged awards for the best student-project of 2014-15 from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hyderabad.

The TCS award for the Best Student-Project of 2014-15 batch was given away to Ms. Chakritha Gajjala, Ms. Sirisha Sinkara, Mr. Saikiran Patlolla and Mr. Nikhil Thatipally for their project entitled “Arduino Wireless Communication” by Mr V Rajanna, TCS Vice President and Regional Head.

The project was done by students from the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. The award comprises a gold medal, a certificate and a cash price of Rs.20,000.

Mr. V Rajanna, Vice President & Regional Head of TCS personally presented this award to Ms. Chakritha Gajjala, Ms. Sirisha Sinkara, Mr. Saikiran Patlolla and Mr. Nikhil Thatipally during the awards ceremony held in TCS Deccan Park Campus. TCS Best Student-Project Award is presented to one project nominated by the college from each of the colleges with which TCS has signed MoU.

This award aims to promote creativity and socially useful projects.
