TS Govt spends Rs. 27,583 Cr on education

Hyderabad, March 25: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Saturday informed the Legislative Assembly that the Telangana Government had spent Rs. 27,583 crore in the last three years.

Of Rs. 10,955 Crore allocated in budget for 2014-15, the government had spent Rs. 7,311 Crore.

Similarly, as against the allocation of Rs. 11,255 Crore in 2015-16 Budget, an amount of Rs. 10,947 Crore was spent.

Likewise, of Rs. 10,778 Crore allocated in the budget of 2016-17, till January this year, Rs. 9,325 crore has been spent, the Deputy CM said in his written reply to a question raised by TDP MLA Ryaga Krishnaiah. (INN)
