Hyderabad: Health and Family Welfare Commissioner Vakuti Karuna said that the Telangana Government would introduce bio-metric attendance system in all government hospital to ensure full attendance of all doctors and other staff.
Speaking to media persons after visiting the Siddipet Government Hospital along with Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Saturday, the Commissioner said stern action would be taken against the doctors and staff who abstain from duties.
She also informed that within a month mechanical laundry and washer men facilities would be provided in all government hospitals. She said a Help Desk would be established in all hospitals and accountability would be fixed on the entire staff.
The Commissioner also informed that the services of Blood Banks would be expanded soon. (INN)
