VHR slams PM Modi’s foreign visits

Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao has strongly condemned Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his frequent foreign visits.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, VHR said that the Prime Minister was wrongly focussed on visiting foreign countries to get media coverage. He said apparently it was first time that the External Affairs Minister is not accompanying the Prime Minister during foreign visits.

He said instead of visiting other nations, Modi should stay in India and curb terrorism. Strongly condemning the terror attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims, he said despite intelligence inputs of a possible attack, the government has failed to ensure safety of pilgrims.

VHR also praised bus driver Saleem who displayed exemplary bravery in saving the lives of 50 pilgrims. (INN)
