TRS Govt brought revolutionary changes in public hospitals: KTR

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister K. Tarakarama Rao said that a revolutionary change has been witnessed in government hospitals after TRS Government came to power in Telangana State.

Speaking after inaugurating ICU unit, Dialysis unit and Blood Bank at Sircilla Government Hospital on Tuesday, KTR said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao took several measures to improve the services of in all government hospitals.

He said earlier people were afraid of getting treatment at government hospitals due to lack of facilities. However, by undertaking massive upgradation in terms of equipment and services, the conditions have improved in all departments of government hospitals.

KTR also listed out various measures being taken by the government to improve services including the steps to increase bed-strength in all hospitals.

KTR, along with Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy, also laid the foundation stone for construction of Nursing College in Sircilla at a cost of Rs. 50.36 crore. He said the college would start functioning from next academic year. (INN)
