Bharathi Cements organized an award ceremony cum concluding day function of a week-long “Mines Environment & Mineral Conservation Week 2015-16” at Kadapa Plant on February 21, 2016.
Several teams consisting of senior executives from Mining Industry of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana visited around 112 mines, the company said in a press statement.
During the week, the teams evaluated contribution of the mines in both the states towards mine environment & mineral conservation.
The event was celebrated under the aegis of Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), Hyderabad. Controller General of IBM Nagpur R.K.Sinha was the Chief Guest on this occasion, while Anoop Kumar Saxena, COO, Bharathi Cement presided over the function.
