Hyderabad: Swine flu has claimed at least 40 lives across the Telangana State this year. Of them, 30 victims hailed from Hyderabad.
So far, as many as 1,876 cases of Swine flu have been reported in Telangana which includes 1,450 cases from Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts.
On an average 2-3 cases of Swine flu are being referred to Gandhi Hospital every day. Presently, 12 people are undergoing treatment for Swine flu at Gandhi Hospital. Six more people had symptoms of Swine flu.
Most of the Swine flu victims were women in the age group of 45-50 years. (INN)
