MANUU to BHU Students: Salaam to Your Braveness

Student community of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) marched on Saturday evening in the campus to show solidarity with students of Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

MANUU Students Union president Ataullah Niazi condemned the behavior of BHU administration towards its own students.

While expressing solidarity with the BHU students, Niazi said the administration should not have used unparliamentary words for the girl students.

“I reiterate that we would continue to stand against any injustice happening within the educational campuses across the country,” Niazi expressed.

Speaking on the occasion, MANUUSU vice president Abdullah Asim saluted the braveness of BHU students in the wake of moral policing and manhandling of them.

To all the students of the country, Asim gave a clear message on behalf of the MANUU student community: “As-Salaam, As-Salaam – Talba Ittehad Ku As-Salaam.”

Among notable students who marched were: Secretary Nehal Ahmed, Joint Secretary Aliza Fathima, Treasurer Faisal and former president of MANUUSU Tajamul Islam.
