Plea to petrol bunk dealers to call off proposed strike

Hyderabad: The public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) Hyderabad, Hindustan Petroleum, Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum have appealed to the petroleum dealers federation to call of their proposed one day strike on October 13.

In a press release, issued here today, state level coordinator for OMCs, Ch. Srinivas, said that most of the demands of petroleum dealers association have been implemented by the oil companies. He said closure of petroleum bunks would cause inconvenience to the consumers, due to which essential services would be hit. (INN)
