Only through education we can progress: Asad Owaisi

It’s only through education we can come up, observed Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi at the inaugural session of national conference Educate2Elevate in Hyderabad.

While lauding efforts of K. Chandrasekhar Rao led TRS government in Telanagna, Mr Owaisi noted that his party was supporting the government for various initiatives it had taken up.

He submitted that he had not seen any chief minister so concerned about minorities as KCR was.

He further said that the residential schools would bring a revolution in a decade.

“People in power are intellectually dishonest,” Asad opined while referring to various leaders who say a lot about the minorities but do nothing.

Telangana government advisor AK Khan read out the message from Chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as part of inauguration of the conference.

Speaking on the occasion, Kerala’s Dy Minorities Minister Dr K T Jaleel called the conference a part of
national integration.

Former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir  recalled efforts of the previous state governments in uplifting the Muslim community by providing reservation in education and employment.

Muslim Education Society (MES)  Kerala president Dr P.A. Fazal Gafoor said, “We do not interfere in politics. But if politics interfere in
education, we won’t keep silent.

He also question what happened to numerous commissions established for the welfare of the minorities.
