Hyderabad: Industries Minister K. Tarakarama Rao met James C. Collins, Chief Operating Officer, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont along with Krysta Harden, External Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont and team at Assembly today.
James C. Collins congratulated the Minister on many path breaking measures taken to improve the lives of farmers. Further, he announced that the headquarters of the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont would be based at Hyderabad and the company has a significant presence in Telangana.
The Minister shared the innovative RICH platform created by the Government of Telangana and about the upcoming Seed Park project highlighting their efforts towards making Telangana the seed bowl of India.
Krysta Harden spoke about how worldwide, women play a critical role in agriculture, they discussed about a conference on women in agriculture. (INN)
