Hyderabad: Industries Minister K. Tarakarama Rao said that India was the best destination for foreign investors and Telangana was the best State to invest in.
Speaking in the Warm-up Conference of Global Entrepreneurship Summit at HICC on Sunday, KTR said India was home to maximum number of young entrepreneurs and industrialists and by implementing investor-friendly policies, the government is trying to ensure safety and good returns for the investors.
He said Telangana Government’s policy TS-iPass has been attracting good investments. He pointed out that Telangana was ranked top in the country in ‘Ease of Doing Business’.
Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi stressed on elimination of child labour from the country and asked industrialists to play an active role in this regard. He also expressed concern over rising cases of sexual assaults on children.
On an average, he said two girls were being raped every hour while 9-10 children were going missing. (INN)
