Conference to discuss directions of E-learning starts today at UoH

An international academic conference to discuss directions of E-learning and their challenges has started today at University of Hyderabad (UoH).

The two days conference, titled ‘International Academic Conference on Disciplinary Discourses on Use of Technology’, is organized by the UoH at its Seminar Hall in the Life Sciences building.

The event is scheduled to be inaugurated by Andrew McAllister, Deputy High Commissioner, British Deputy High Commission, Hyderabad.

Following it, a keynote speech is expected to be addressed by Prof. P D Jose, Chairman MOOCs Initiative, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.

The day two of the event is having a Panel Discussion on “Challenges in implementing Technology Enhanced Education in India”, said a UoH in release.

A valedictory talk on “Deployment of MOOCs on cloud and its impact on education in India” by Dr. Pradeep Kaul, Senior Consultant, NMEICT & Coordinator, DTH, MHRD is also expected on day two of the event.
