Justice will be done with Telangana in coming budget: Dattatreya

Hyderabad: Former Union Minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya assured that justice would be done with Telangana State in the next Union Budget.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Dattatreya said that there was a possibility of allocation of more funds for Telangana State in the coming budget. He said adequate provisions would be made for poor, Dalits, Backwards and other weaker sections.

Commenting on OBC Commission, he said that the Congress party should pressurise its Central leadership than issuing mere statements on the issues. He said that the BJP Government was serious on the development of OBCs in the country.

Dattatreya said that the credit for providing 24 hour power supply to farmers goes to the Central Government. He said that the Centre provided Rs. 5,658 crore to supply energy. However, he said that the TRS Government was trying to take credit without thanking the Central Government.

He also slammed the State Government for improper implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna and said only 15% of Telangana farmers benefitted from it. (INN)
