Hyderabad: Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday informed that he has approached the High Court seeking CBI probe into the murder of B. Srinivas, Congress senior leader and husband of Nalgonda Municipal Chairperson Laxmi.
Speaking to media persons, Komatireddy alleged that besides TRS leaders, some police officials were also involved in the murder.
He said that the Nalgonda SP has described the murder as a routine incident only to shield TRS leaders who are involved in the crime. He said that the police have failed to provide the call data of accused persons.
Komatireddy said that the murder case of Srinivas was being hushed up at the instance of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao. (INN)
