Hyderabad: Activists of TRSV, the students wing of ruling TRS party, staged dharna before Congress party’s headquarters Gandhi Bhavan on Friday in protest against TPCC President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy’s remarks against IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao.
The TRSV workers raised slogans against Uttam Kumar Reddy and sought apology for his remarks wherein he accused KTR of visiting Davos without getting an invite from World Economic Forum. They alleged that the Congress president has levelled baseless allegations against KTR.
In response to the TRSV activists, Congress workers, who were present in Gandhi Bhavan, too raised counter-slogans against KTR and TRS Government.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and took TRSV activists into custody and shifted them to Begumpet Police Station. (INN)
