University of Hyderabad (UoH) invited application from students for admission into various graduate, integrated PG, and research courses for academic year 2016-17.
The premier institution said the last date for submitting online application is May 10, 2016. It offers numerous courses at PG, M.Phil and Doctorate levels under its 12 listed Schools of Study.
The university has special reputation for its research in humanities and social sciences. UoH offers following courses at MA level: English, Philosophy, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Applied Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, and Communication.
Apart from various courses it offers, the UoH also has some of the noted faculty members in the academic circles, and received umpteen numbers of honors, recognitions and awards. It sits on a sprawling campus in Gachibowli.
“The University’s scenic and serene campus is spread over a vast stretch of land measuring about 2,000 acres, 20 kms from the city of Hyderabad on the old Hyderabad – Bombay road,” the UoH said in its prospectus for 2016-17.
Candidates need to submit duly filled application form latest by 10th May 2016. The online application requires scanned image of candidate’s photograph and signature.
Online application fee for general category is Rs. 350, while for OBC it is Rs. 250 and for SC/ST/PWD(PH) it is Rs. 150.
