Rahul Gandhi day-dreaming of become PM: Shahnawaz

Hyderabad: BJP National Spokesperson and former union minister Shahnawaz Hussain has alleged that Congress president Rahul Gandhi was day-dreaming of becoming Prime Minister of India.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Shahnawaz said that the Prime Minister’s post was not vacant till 2024 although there were many aspirants for the post.

He claimed that the BJP was winning the Karnataka elections. He said it ws the fear of loss that forced all top leaders of Congress party to join the campaign. For the same reason, he said Sonia Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh too have joined the campaign.

Despite the entry of all big shots of Congress party, he said that the BJP would emerge victorious as people have decided to vote out Siddaramaiah Government.

Shahnawaz said that the Congress lost elections in 13 states when Rahul Gandhi was Congress Vice-President. After becoming president, Congress had lost in five elections. He said Karnataka would be the 6th State where Congress would suffer a humiliating defeat.

The BJP leader said that his party’s next target would be to win Telangana State. (INN)
