Hyderabad: A small journey started by a group of 4-5 running enthusiasts to encourage Healthy Lifestyle has successfully completes 10 years. To mark the start of 10 Years Celebrations, Hyderabad Runners is organized a 10 K Global Run on 29th May 2016.
To encourage runners across the city or any other part in India or globally, Hyderabad Runners requests running enthusiasts to run a distance of 10 K on your favorite route in your city and become the part of HR Global Run along with your friends, family and local running friends.

To mark this glory moment Chennai Runners, Soles of Cochin, Coimbatore runners, Bangalore Runners, Mumbai Runners, Nagpur, Raipur Runners and Runners in USA, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, UK, Chicago, Kyoto ran 10K and posted their status on Facebook and Twitter, Also several runners were interviewed by Red FM Hyderabad about this 10th Year Celebration.
Here’s the beautiful journey of Hyderabad Runners. A group of 4-5 individuals running in KBR Park, Hyderabad decided to start the Hyderabad Runners group in 2007. Thereafter from first major official run conducted on runway of Hyderabad Airport in 2008 with 120+ participants to Airtel Hyderabad Marathon in 2015 where 14,000+ runners from all over India participated, HR has indeed come a long way.
The story and the growth of the Hyderabad Runners was partially by default and a lot by design. It is a very interesting story and it is the effort of a lot of members who many a time have been behind the scenes and have been working tirelessly to get to wherever we have got to.
The Hyderabad Runners are more than often occupying podiums at races nationwide, qualifying for prestigious races like Boston Marathon, participating in Iron Man events, trekking to Everest Base Camp, running in South Africa in the Comrades Marathon to running a Marathon in Antarctica to mark the completing of running in all seven continents.
