Oncology Center opens in NIMS, Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Ministers Laxma Reddy and KT Rama Rao inaugurated an Oncology Centre at NIMS hospital in Hyderabad. MEIL Chairman P P Reddy and Managing Director Krishna Reddy participated in the inaugural event.

The 50-bed facility is developed at a cost of Rs 10 crore by Megha Engineering Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) and is equipped with ultra-modern facilities on a par with corporate hospitals.

The facility has five beds in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 12 beds for men, 10 beds for women, 11 beds for children and 12 beds have been set aside for a speciality leukaemia ward.

The 18,000 sft completely air-conditioned centre also has an exclusive Oncology Critical Care Unit (OCCU).
