Hyderabad: A high level delegation sent by Telangana Government reached Dubai on September 27 and was warmly welcomed at the Airport by the local Telangana associations.
The delegation visited Sharjah and Dubai labor camps and met many Telangana amnesty seekers there.
The Government of Telangana is arranging air tickets to the amnesty seekers. Yesterday evening about 200 immigrants from Telangana gathered at Open House stadium in Consulate of India and Consul General Vipul has addressed the gathering.
The Telangana Delegation members also interacted with the amnesty seekers created awareness about Amnesty among the immigrants in Dubai.
The Telangana delegation, in association with Indian Consulate is doing necessary facilitation to the migrants to return to their homeland.
More than 1000 immigrants are expected to avail the benefit of repatriation under current UAE Amnesty program. This three month Amnesty program is open till October 31.
