Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav stated that positive frame of mind and team work can solve most of the problems in any organization.
He conducted a detailed review meeting on safety, punctuality and loading of the Zone today i.e., 8th October, 2018 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad along with Principle Heads of Departments.
Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) of all the six Divisions viz., Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions participated through video conference.
The General Manager while reviewing the safety aspects of the Zone, called upon all the Zonal and Divisional officials and staff of all the departments in the Zone to develop a positive mind-set so as to solve any type of difficulty in their day to day working and personal life also.
He stated that strong co-ordination is needed between the departments at all levels for effective working and early completion of any targeted task giving place to delays.
Vinod Kumar Yadav reviewed train punctuality and the loading performance of the zone and advised the officials to achieve the punctuality and loading targets of the Zone.
He also instructed the officials to initiate a special drive to prevent any type of small unusual occurrences which are affecting the safety and punctuality of the trains.
All the DRMs appraised the issues regarding allocation of funds, station redevelopment works, and infrastructural works and passenger amenities including improvement of platform facilities and Foot Over Bridges etc.
