Influence of Islam on Indian Social System MANUU awards Ph.D. to Iqbal Ahmed

Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University has declared Mr. Iqbal Ahmed qualified in Doctor of Philosophy in Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy.

He has worked on the topic,  “Influence of Islam on Indian Social System from Entry to Partition” under supervision of Dr. S. Abdul Thaha, Assistant Professor, Al-Beruni Centre for Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy.

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed (Engineer) is a well known Urdu columnist and activist. Through his research, he tried to identify common factors emanating from the Islamic influence on Indian Social System.

In his research he present detailed analysis of Islamic influence on Hindu beliefs, traditions, rituals, Upanishad, Ved, Vedant, Puranas, Itehas, Darshan and contemporary Hindu movements.

Mr. Iqbal Ahmed had started his research under the supervision of Prof. Kancha Iliah, Former Director of the Centre.
