HYSEA elects Ranga Pothula as prez, announces five-member executive team

Hyderabad, INN: The Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA), the apex body of software industry in the city, announced high powered five member executive team in a first ever MC meeting held in city on Tuesday.

Ranga Pothula, the recently unanimously elected new president handpicked the executive team for a period of two years term especially keeping in mind the Silver Jubilee year of the Association.

This year is a very significant year for HYSEA as it celebrates the Silver Jubilee Year of its foundation, informed Ranga Pothula, who is the VP & Centre Head, Hyd, “Infor India Ltd”

The executive team includes: Murali Bollu, CEO, ZenQ, and R Srinivas Rao (RSR), VP & Head of Manufacturing & Technology SBU, India & Middle East and Center Head – Hyderabad both Vice President; Bharani K Aroll, Secretary, VP, India Operations & Global IT/BPO services, Butler America; Padmaja Chowdary, Treasurer, VP, International Finance, C3i Support Services, and Brig. K. Harikumar, Executive Director, HYSEA is an Ex-officio member of the executive committee.

The executive committee will be supplemented with a team of 10 leaders as part of the larger Managing Committee. These leaders of HYSEA will shoulder the responsibility to drive various forums including SME, HR, Start-up & Product Development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Industry-Academia Collaboration, etc.

Speaking after the first meeting of the newly constituted executive committee, Ranga Pothula said, “The Executive Committee of HYSEA as always is right mix of Leaders from Small, Medium and Large IT and ITES organizations to help synergize and work towards transforming the industry in Hyderabad into an innovation driven IT hub.”

HYSEA he said, “Has been a key contributor to Government in formulating and enabling an ecosystem for the IT industry, since its inception 1991 and now we see a great opportunity for us to play a vital role in the ‘Digital India’ and ‘Startup India’ initiatives of Government of India, and in achieving the goal set by the Government of Telangana to double IT exports within the next 5 years from current 68,000 crores.”

HYSEA will continue to work with the industry leaders, SME’s, Start-up companies, and with the state government towards making Hyderabad, the technology and innovation capital, and most preferred destination for IT in India”.

He also shared that the Managing Committee would be finalized soon.
