Hyderabad: The South Central Railway bagged Championship Trophy at the 77thAll India Railway Hockey (Men’s) Championship held at Chennai from 19th to 22nd December.
SCR General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav congratulated the team members for the achievement.
The South Central Railway Men’s Hockey team participated in the 77th All India Railway Men Hockey championship (league stage) held from 10th to 15th December, 2018 and emerged as pool toppers and qualified for the semi-final stage.
SCR won the Semi-Finals by defeating Rail Coach Factory, Kaputhala by 04-01(last year winner). Later in the finals, SCR defeated Integral Coach Factory, Chennai by 04-02 and clinched the Championship title.
Vinod Kumar Yadav complimented the team members for their victory. He advised the Men Hockey team to put their best efforts and bring laurels to South Central Railway.
