Hyderabad: A three-day Regional Directors’ meet today started at Maulana Azad National Urdu University
(MANUU) to discuss several issues arising out of the UGC’s new Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Regulations of 2017.
Other than the Regional Directors (RDs) and officers in-charge of Regional and Sub-Regional Centers of the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE), MANUU, the meeting is being attended by the DDE faculty and staff, and important administrative officers of MANUU including the Registrar, the Finance Officer and the Controller of Examination.
The participants are expected to discuss various methods to make ODL process at MANUU more efficient. At the inaugural session today, Prof. P F Rahman, Director in-charge DDE, gave a brief description of the meet’s agenda, and Dr. M A Sikandar, Registrar MANUU, talked about the University’s expectations from the participants.
