Hyderabad: First Azad Round Robin League Cricket Tournament 2018-19 is being organised by the Directorate of Physical Education & Sports at Sports Complex of MANUU. Prof. Abul Kalam, Chairman, SMC, MANUU inaugurated the tournament.
According to the Assistant Director, DPE & Sports four teams CCOB CA, Noble CC, Nizan CC and MANUU team are participating in the tournament. In the first match, MANUU team beat CCOB CA by 120 runs. MANUU team won the toss and elected to bat and scored 230 runs in 25 overs by losing only 3 wickets.
From MANUU Khalid and Shahid opened the innings. Khalid was the highest scorer with 73 runs (9 fours and 2 sixes). CCOB CA scored 110 runs and Ashwin was the highest scorer with 20 runs. Wasid Ali bowled brilliantly (3-1-5-3) for MANUU.
