TPCC plans series of agitations against TRS Government

Hyderabad, INN: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee executive body has decided to launch a series of agitation programmes against the TRS Government.

The meeting was attended by TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former ministers D.K. Aruna, Sabitha Indira Reddy and others leaders.

Briefing the media persons about the decisions taken during TPCC’s executive body meeting, TPCC Vice-President Dr. Mallu Ravi said that the party would launch a mass agitation and force land acquisition in the State.

He said a meeting has been proposed in Kollahpur of Mahabubnagar district on June 13. It has also been decided to hold public meetings and dharnas against the failure of State Government to deal with the drought situation. He said that the TRS Government did not take measures to ensure better crop in Khariff season.

Mallu Ravi also informed that the party would organise Iftar parties at all mandals across Telangana State on June 17. He said that the training programmes for workers would begin soon under the supervision of fomer MP Ponnam Prabhakar.

TPCC General Secretaries Azmath Hussaini, Narendra Goud and Maqsood Ahmed were also present in the press conference.
