Students of MANUU Organizes Solidarity March in Support of AMU

The students of Maulana Azad National Urdu University came out in support of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students who were accused by the police under false accusation on sedition charges.

The provocative manners of Republic Tv reporter and the channel calling the university to be terrorists’ university had made aggravation in the students.

There were protests marches being organized in different campuses in the country.

“This is the propaganda of the Hindutva groups and their puppet channels to create false news of Aligarh Muslim University and its students for the upcoming elections to create division among us Indians” said Attaullah Niazi, former president of MANUU Students Union in the rally.

The solidarity march in support of Aligarh Muslim University students started from the Tipu Sultan Square in front of the Union office to the Bab-e-ilm of the MANUU campus.

Slogans against the unjust government and the police were raised and students made their lineage in support of the students accused on sedition charges without any evidence.

Whereas there were no actions taken against the Republic TV reporter for making false accusations and defaming the University, which gave countless geniuses to the country and the world.

“We are in support of our brothers in AMU with a whole heart and at the same time we also condemn the attack on Indian Army yesterday in Pulwama ” opined Mohammed Faizan, President of MANUU Students Union.

The solidarity march was organized by the students’ fraternity consisting of all student groups in the campus and this was to show the message of students unity against the false media propaganda.
