TS Govt sets up panel to probe into flaws into inter results

Hyderabad: Telangana Government on Monday constituted a three-member committee to probe into the flaws in the functioning of the system used by Globarena Technologies that led to some errors in the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE March, 2019) results.

Committee will be headed by Telangana State Technological Service (TSTS) Managing Director G.T. Venkateswar Rao as Chairman while Prof. A Vassan of BITS – Hyderabad and Prof. Nishant Dongari of IIT- Hyderabad will be the members.

The Committee will look into the following aspects: Whether the agency has carried out its functions as mandated in the agreement? Whether it has enough manpower to deal with issue in time?

Whether there are enough checks and balances to detect systemic mistakes in time? Whether there were any errors in publication of results on account of any systemic errors of the agency in design, Implementation? Whether the software is designed as per the specified requirements of Board of Intermediate Education?

The Committee will also suggest way forward to take all possible steps to reduce the errors, if any, and instill confidence in the minds of students and parents.
