Hyderabad: As many as 92.43% students have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in Telangana State whose results were declared here on Monday.
Speaking after releasing the results at the State Secretariat, Education Secretary Janardhan Reddy informed that girls have outperformed boys in the SSC exams.
The pass percentage of boys was 91.18% while girls secured 93.68% pass percentage. Of 506,202 candidates who appeared for the exams, as many as 467,859 have passed.
Jagitial district secured highest percentage of passes with 99.73% and Hyderabad ranked lowest with 83.09%.
The supplementary examinations are scheduled from 10th to 24th June. The last day for payment of exam fee by the candidates to the Heads of Schools concerned is 27th May. (INN)
