Hyderabad gets its ‘Transformers’

Hyderabad, a city known for Nizam’s generosity and Software Industry, got a team of ‘Transformers’ trying to do extraordinary things in ordinary life.

About 57 individuals from the city conceptualized and executed community projects to make lives better for citizens.

Trained in Landmark Self-Expression and Leadership Program, these individuals designed their projects in two-month period and intend to build a network of like-minded people.

Calling themselves ‘Transformers’, these individuals want to transform the world around them through small but determined actions. They displayed their projects on June 1 in an auditorium in KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad.

Through their initiatives, they wanted to make long lasting and sustainable impact in the spheres of education, health, gender rights, elderly care, road safety, and environment.

Landmark course leader Ms. Sujatha Reddy said, “Peace and prosperity bind a family, builds a nation and world at large. I have taken on fulfilling this mission by being a Landmark Self Expression and Leadership Program Leader.”

Landmark is an international professional development company. It offers courses and seminars in over 125 cities. According to the company, as many as 193,000 people participate in its courses each year.
