27 inter first year booked for malpractice

Hyderabad: As many as 27 intermediate first year students were booked for malpractice in the Mathematics-IA, Botany, Civics (Old & New Papers-I) and Psychology – I exams conducted by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education on Tuesday.

Of 27, as many nine candidates were booked in Nalgonda, followed by 7 in Nizamabad; 4 in Kamareddy; two each in Bhadradri Kothagudem and Narayanapet and one each in Vikarabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

Of 549,273 registered candidates, a total of 523,443 appeared for the exams while 25,830 or 4.70% abstained. (INN)
