Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said that Telangana Irrigation expert R Vidyasagar Rao had questioned the injustice meted out to Telangana region during the united Andhra Pradesh rule and kindled the spirit for separate statehood for the region among the people.
The CM paid rich tributes to Sri Vidyasagar Rao on his death anniversary today.
CM KCR said in tune with aspirations of Vidyasagar Rao, the Telangana State is working hard day and night in the direction to make the State a fertile one.
He hailed that the engineers in Telangana took inspiration from Vidyasagar Rao and completed the Kaleswaram project. The Telangana state, which has emerged, as Rice Bowl of India, is a true tribute to Vidyasagar Rao, he said. (INN)
