Hyderabad: Health Minister Dr. Lakshma Reddy declared the ranks of TS EAMCET-II 2016 here on Wednesday.
Of 50,961 candidates who appeared for the examination, 47,644 candidates got qualified in TS EAMCET-II 2016 and passed in the Qualifying examination and awarded Rank. The percentage of qualified candidates for whom the rank is awarded is 93.49.
The candidates who qualified for Medical Stream include 46,697 Intermediate Regular students; 59 – Intermediate Vocational; CBSE – 770; ISC – 30; NIOS – 6; RGUKT – 4; TSOSS/APOSS – 21 and others – 57.
The minister informed that weightage of 25% marks was given to the marks obtained in Intermediate or Equivalent Exam and 75% weightage for marks obtained in TS EAMCET – II 2016.
With a combined score of 97.66 and Eamcet Marks of 155, Rajupalem Ujwal of Ranga Reddy secured the first rank. The other top rankers are Kasam Aishwarya (2nd); Mudupulavemula Sai Sushruutha (3rd); Venu Madhav Pinninti (4th); M. Ankith Reddy (5th); Jataprolu Pranavi (6th); Thappeta Tejaswini (7th); Siddarth B.
